Contest: Name Those Pixels
FINAL UPDATE: I've added one more clue. Get your entries in while you can. So far, the winners pool is very small, so if you get it right you've got a good chance of winning.
I'd like to announce the first mgroves.com contest. This is a sort of 'pilot' for future contests.
Prize: an authentic Dr. Mario NES cartridge. This is one of my favorite puzzle games of all time. I just happen to have a few extra copies laying around, so I thought I would give one of them away to one of my loyal readers.
Contest: Hopefully this won't be too difficult, but difficult enough that I won't get 1000 correct entries. Name the game that these pixels are taken from:
Here's a zoomed in view:
Hints: it's a U.S. NES release.
If I don't get a lot of correct entries, I will post a clue in the comments below. The contest will run for 2 weeks from today (October 28, 2006).
Send your guess in an email to [sorry, contest is now over]. Good luck!
Rules: One entry per person per day please, one correct entry per person per contest. The prize can only be shipped to an address within the U.S. Winner will be chosen at random from all the correct entries. I reserve all rights to cancel the contest or change the prize at any time, or generally do whatever the hell I want. Don't send me 776 emails, one for each Nintendo release either.

For my first guess, I'm gonna have to go with "Deja Vu".

That's fine, but only email entries will be accepted.

Hmm... So it's a reading contest as well...

HINT: The pixels are from a NES game that was based on an animated motion picture.

How about Disney's "Alladin". The shot in particular is from the level where you had to sit down at the desk. Robin William's genie was masquerading as the lamp shortly before he made a gonorrhea joke.

FINAL CLUE: The name of the game (and the movie) is a question.

GhostBusters? As in did Harold Ramos really think he could bust ghosts?
